Delete your account
This page explains how to delete your Lunara or Hourmark account, made by Stathmos, and what happens to your data.
Option 1: delete in the app
In Lunara, open My account, choose Delete account, and type your email address to confirm. Deletion happens right away.
Option 2: ask us by email
If you can't open the app, email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my Lunara account" (or "Delete my Hourmark account"). We'll confirm the request and finish it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your account and sign-in, sessions, records and record photos, debts and debt photos, goals, birthdays, categories, reminders, shares you own, records other people shared with you, your saved sharing contacts and groups, support messages, plan details, phone number, sign-in and password-reset codes, two-factor settings, and notification subscriptions. Deleting your account (or signing out) also erases the copy of your data stored on your device.
Your Lunara Paid subscription
If you subscribed on the Lunara website, deleting your account cancels Lunara Paid immediately so you won't be billed again.
If you subscribed in the Google Play app, please cancel in Google Play first (Google Play, Profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions). Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription by itself.
What we keep, and for how long
- Deleted data can remain in database backups for up to 30 days, then it is removed automatically.
- Our host's technical logs, which can include IP addresses, are kept for no more than 30 days.
- Records you shared that another person already accepted stay on that person's calendar.
- Payment processors (Stripe and Google Play) keep payment records as the law requires.
